Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor Coming!

COH: Tales of Valor Announced!!

Company of Heroes is expanding again with the 'Tales of Valor' release in the spring of 2009. Not alot out on this yet but it sounds like we will get
  • 3 single-player campaigns,
  • some multiplayer modes that are a little different,
  • new maps
  • a "Direct Fire" feature
  • and of course new units!

Relic is still behind the mahem!
The Relic team is building this expansion (they say it is also a stand alone version). ”In Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, we’re offering players a ton of rich, new content including more strategic options in single-player and multiplayer,” said Tarrnie Williams, general manager, Relic Entertainment. “With fresh new campaigns and multiplayer modes, brand-new units, additional maps and the introduction of the ‘direct-fire’ feature, we’re once again committed to delivering the best in strategic gaming.”

Opposing Fronts live on Steam

If you've been waiting to grab Opposing Fronts off Steam, you're in luck! According to the website, it is now available for a mere pittance of 39.95 US. It comes with the latest patch installed, so it is perfect for any Europeans who want to grab the game right away.

Official Australian patch released

If you have an Australian copy of Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, simply log into Relic Online to download the official Australian patch, which corrects issues that Australian copies that prevented the game from running.

Opposing Fronts is best selling PC game in the US

Gamesutra has complied video game sales in the US for the week ending on September 27th. Coming in at number 1 is Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts! A particularly impressive feat, considering the game only widely became available on September 25th, and the data was only recorded up until the 27th. Opposing Fronts managed to beat out titles such as BioShock, World of Warcraft, and World in Conflict. Equally impressive is the fact that Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts appears on the European charts at number 4, despite only being released on the 27th. Let's hope the good sales continue!

CoH: Opposing Forces Open Beta Launches!

As promised, Relic Entertainment has launched an Open Beta for their upcoming Company of Heroes expansion pack, Opposing Forces. Anyone with a free FilePlanet account can sign-up and play. Keys are limited though. So act fast!
But before you get too excited, make sure your computer meets the following system requirements:
  • Windows® XP
  • DirectX® 9.0c
  • 2.5 GHz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon XP processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 3 GB free hard drive space for installation

If you have been out fo the loop and are wondering what Relics new Company of Heroes Opposing Front is going to bring to the series. I have grad the info off Relics main site...

Main Features:
